- The General & DR Division's Schedule of Deposits sets $350 for a divorce, dissolution, annulment, or legal separation — the same whether or not there are minor children — and a counterclaim is also $350.
- Never-married parents file parentage, custody, visitation, and support in the combined Probate & Juvenile Division, where a new complaint is $150 and reopening a case or a new motion is $100.
- Optional e-filing has been available since June 15, 2022 (carrollcountyclerk.org/eservices), but protection-order pleadings are excluded and must be filed on paper.
- The required parenting class is "Successful Co-Parenting" through the OSU Extension Office, Carroll County, at $25 per person (cash only), completed before the final hearing (Local Rule 10.08(D)).
- A residential parent must file a Notice of Intent to Relocate at least 60 days before moving (Local Rule 10.09); the relocation motion fee is $40.

$350 flat deposit, with or without kids
Carroll County's deposit for a divorce, dissolution, annulment, or legal separation is $350 — the same whether or not there are minor children — and a counterclaim is also $350. It is a deposit against costs, and any unused balance is refundable. (Carroll County Clerk of Courts)
Successful Co-Parenting class is cash-only
In cases with minor children, both parents must complete the "Successful Co-Parenting" program through the OSU Extension Office, Carroll County ((330) 627-4310). E-file, but not protection orders
