SMS Terms & Text Message Consent

These terms apply to text messages (SMS and MMS) sent by Gavvl Law, LLC to a mobile number you give us. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you accept these terms.
Program description
Gavvl Law sends text messages about your consultation and your legal matter: appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, requests for documents or information, updates from your attorney or case team, billing and payment notices, and replies to questions you send us. This is a customer-care and appointment-reminder program. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you consent
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages — by checking the consent box when you book a consultation, by entering your number in Calendly's text-reminder field, by giving your number to our staff and agreeing to be texted, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber or authorized user of the number you provide.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent based on activity in your matter.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Gavvl Law does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You can also email support@gavvl.com or call +1 (844) 694-2885.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our messaging provider, is permitted solely to deliver the messages described here. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality
Text messages are not a secure channel. Do not send sensitive details, account numbers, or documents by text. A text message does not create an attorney-client relationship — see our Terms of Service.
